When you start planning an event, the process can be overwhelming. You want everything to be perfect, down to the smallest detail. We are here to provide the finishing touch that turns a special day into an unforgettable event.
An orchestra is not only an impressive sight, it is an impressive sound that creates an atmosphere of sophistication and elegance. The modern orchestra is a 17 piece dance band comprised of 5 saxophones, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, piano,
bass, guitar and drums. For more than 80 years the 17 piece "big band" has set the benchmark for optimal ensemble sound. It is a full, rich, lush and powerful sound which has been adapted to every genre of dance music - from swing to ballroom, from Latin to disco, and from Motown to rock & roll.
A typical party band has six to eight members and may have one trumpet and one saxophone; meanwhile, the songs they are playing were originally arranged to sound best when played by several different kinds of saxophones, multiple trumpets, and multiple trombones. The only way a smaller band can cover this music is to re-arrange it for less instruments, leaving out most of what made the music great in the first place.
No one expects a single voice to sound like a choir, or a single violin to fill a concert hall. So a small wedding band may be perfect for rock & roll, but it’s no surprise that a smaller band falls short of providing the atmosphere an orchestra delivers when covering the full range of dance music that makes for a great night of entertainment. The unmistakable sound of an orchestra fills a dance hall - and creates an event - like nothing else can.
